Robert Smith Law Group was established in November 2015  with the aim of providing cutting edge legal solutions in Ghana and beyond. Prior to the establishment of the firm, the Founding Partner undertook a study of some of the most successful law firms in history such as, White & Case, Sherman & Sterling, and Meyer Brown to ascertain the factors which have contributed to the longevity, success, and growth of these firms.

The firm started its operations from Unit 8, Avenue Lincoln, Ridge before moving to the Labone Coffee Shop premises in Labone with a staff strength of two. By January 2017, the firm had seen massive growth and acquired a unit within the Octagon Building, Accra Business Central, where it operates till date.
